Our best selling organically grown turmeric with popular green tea (Curcuma longa and Camellia sinensis). Two of nature's best natural antioxidant health herbs in capsule form. Now with black pepper to add better bioavalibility to allow for better absorption in the body.
Our turmeric is organically grown in Kanchanaburi Province (famous for the Bridge over the River Kwai), a few hours north-west of Bangkok near the Myanmar border. Turmeric is a plant that thrives on heavy rainfall and central and southern Thailand is perfect for this hardy rhizome. The average curcumin level for this natural turmeric is 5%. Curcumin is the effective ingredient in turmeric that promising research has shown as possibly preventing numerous diseases and ailments such as inflammatory bowel disease (IFB), rheumatoid arthritis, and other health benefits such as cardiovascular health and digestive assistance.

Green tea contains amino acids, enzmes carbohydrates, lipids, sterols, dietary minerals, and phytochemicals such as polyphenols and flavanols. Organic green tea leaf powder contains high levels of polyphenol antioxidants for strong free-radical removal, and also benefits the cardiovascular system and assists the immune system with its strong anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties. Also, Green tea has antioxidants called polyphenols. The main active polyphenol in green tea is called EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate). This helps increase the amount of calories that your body burns. Green tea will stimulate your metabolism slightly, but not in a high or dangerous way like artificial weight loss stimulants will. Green tea also contains some caffeine, but less than coffee, so please be aware of this.

Our green tea is from the north area of Thailand, where the cooler climate is better for growing green tea (and also coffee). The leaves are harvested three times a year, then steamed to prevent minimal oxidation. After this, they are sun dried and powdered for sale.

Our black pepper is from the Chanthaburi region of eastern Thailand, an area known for its pungent, spicy pepper. Turmeric alone has average to low bioavalibility, in other words it can be difficult for the body to absorb the useful curcumin that is in turmeric. However, it is proven in laboratory studies that the piperine in black pepper helps the body absorb curcumin much more effectively; up to 1000 percent higher curcumin levels in the blood after taking it with black pepper compounds. This is an easy subject to research on the internet if you want to know more.
